We are a summer and winter company, you are welcome the whole year through. Also without a Camping Card Scandinavia.
Camping i Järvsand is located in the beautiful province Jämtland in the congregation Strömsund. Here you can enjoy multiple kinds of nature; forests, lakes, rivers, swamps, hills and the largest canyon of Scandinavia with a waterfall of 40 meters high.
For the ones that hire a room there's a free to use completely filled kitchen. But we also have a reception/kiosk with beautiful souvenirs and primary foodstuff ( like freshly baked bread to order, milk, soda and more).
Our camping is a quiet and peaceful camping without to much tourism. Just enjoy the nature with possibilities to fish, sail (canoe or fishing boat), walking, hiking with or without 1 of our dogs and with or without sleeping out in the forest, wild safari (bears, moose), beaver safari, bushcraft, four-wheel safari.
Everybody is welcome; young, old, family's, but also dogs are more then welcome at our camping.
On the camping and at the lake are grilling spots that you can use for free.
Next to the camping you can find our reindeer, but you can also see these animals in the wild.
Congregation Strömsund is the most densely populated bears area. For a bear safari you are at the right adress with us. But on our camping everybody has to help that these sweet-looking, but very dangerous animals stay on a distance. We can do this by not putting our garbage out on the field, but putting it in the containers. Don't even leave it in your tent!
There are also a lot of elk (moose) around here, in the right season on a safari you can even see 5 to 8.
